Barbara Tobler is a versatile singer and a powerfully emotive performer who always leaves her audience wanting more. With her 4 octave range, a “voice of striking richness, flexibility and dimension” (Roger Malouf, New York City Opera) and a powerful stage presence, Barbara brings mesmerizing beauty and passion into all her performances.
Barbara is a classically trained lyric coloratura soprano. She is no stranger to the operatic stage as she has sung opera professionally both in America and in Europe. Her operatic roles include: The Queen of the Night, Donna Anna, Rosina, Adina, Violetta, Pamina and many more. She also has experience singing musical theater, cabaret and jazz, and is known for her ability to cross over into different styles seamlessly.
When you attend one of Barbara’s performances, among the music you will hear is that of great composers like Handel, Mozart, Dvorak and Puccini to Bernstein, Cole Porter and Sammy Kahn, all sung expertly and true to style, with Barbara’s own personal flair.
